Launched in 2004, SubCue-Mini Datalogger, has been produced for researchers interested in measuring internal temperatures of small, mouse-sized, research animals. The biocompatible surface allows surgical implantation into animals and provides long-term, internal temperature data collection.

The SubCue-Mini Dataloggers are ideally suited for temperature measurements in the following situations:

  • Suitable for mouse sized research animals Strategies for refinement of abdominal device implantation in mice:
  • Long-term environmental temperature monitoring
  • Animal research that is behaviour or interaction based
  • Animal research that is activity or mobility based
  • During physiological or psychological testing
  • Remote, contagious or inaccessible locations
  • In 2020, the new mini was launched. Uses the same Dallas semiconductor DS1921H chipset and Panasonic BR1225A lithium battery as the previous version. More robustly packaged.
